Beall’s list of “predatory” publishers and journal no longer available
A blog that lists questionable journals and publishers maintained by an academic librarian at the University of Colorado, Jeffrey Beall, has been taken down as of mid-January 2017. The list, known as Beall’s lists, although controversial, has helped authors to differentiate between legitimate and less legitimate journal or publishers. The reason the blog has been closed down is still unclear.
