Accessing the Altmetric Explorer remotely
As more organizations are moving to online environments or introducing remote working in response to COVID-19, Altmetric wants to make it as easy as possible for those who want to access Altmetric to support their work wherever they are.
This week Altmetric launched its new, streamlined login and registration flow for the Altmetric Explorer. It’s now easier than ever for users to register for a new account or get access if they are from a subscribing organization. Almetric has also improved the experience for Single Sign-On users (Shibboleth and SURFconext) making it simpler to login via their home institution.
Users can create a new account or log in to an existing one remotely here.
Users are also welcome to join one of its online events or customer training webinars (Introduction to the Explorer for Institutions or Publishers) to help them get the most out of the Altmetric and the Explorer.
Looking for some quick tips or the answer to a question? Don’t forget to check out its Getting Started guides and lots of FAQs in its Knowledge Base.
