Library Services in 2011 – 2014
The library has been experience an increment in terms of collection usage (figure 1) in the last four years.

Although the use of print resources and the numbers of borrowing items decreases, the use of journals and database increasing each year. Journal usage has increased to 40% from last year while the database has increased to 90%.
We managed to deliver 94% of literature requested during 2011-2014 and 56% of the literature searches were from our core collection, while the remaining was available free of charge or through library collaboration (figure 2).
Although most of the requests were coming from CIFOR HQ, 86% of total request, requests from regional offices have been increasing slightly (figure 3).
We would like to encourage our colleagues from regional offices to use our collection more. To those who would like to receive an alert service, please let us know. We are happy to arrange a table of contents alert services of new issues of journals subscribed.
The library also provides the following services:
- Bibliographic management
- Copyright checking and clearance
- Open access publishing consultation
- Research data management.
