Data Management Plan Workshop


Funding bodies increasingly require their grant holders to produce data management plans, both during the proposal stage and after funding has been secured. Developing a competitive data management plan requires understanding and effectively addressing the many aspects of research data management that funders and reviewers emphasize (e.g. plans for research data security, sharing and documentation). CIFOR Library would like to conduct a workshop that will cover the research data questions one needs to answer in creating an effective, competitive plan. We will discuss funder requirements for research data and specifically focus on EU H2020 Data Management Plan requirements.

  4. Data Management Planning Tools
  5. Writing a Data Management Pla

Target group: All scientific staff of CIFOR.

Objective: Participants will achieve a basic understanding of the principles of good data management plan and will write a data management plan.
