What is Kopernio?
Kopernio is a free browser plugin for Chrome, Firefox, and Opera that finds the best available PDF of an academic article.
What does Kopernio do?
Kopernio will automatically activate when you search scholarly websites that currently support Kopernio (e.g. Web of Science, Google Scholar, PubMed, etc.).
When viewing a journal article, Kopernio will check for the best available PDF of the full text–prioritizing the publisher’s platform first. It will check CIFOR library subscription, institutional repositories, and other open access resources.
How do I install Kopernio?
You can download the free Kopernio plugin here. This installs the extension locally in your browser (available for Chrome, Firefox, and Opera).
You will be asked to register so that you can access CIFOR Library subscription. Kopernio will appear as an icon in the address/bookmark bar on your browser.
